Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system.  robotic vacuum cleaner on sale  uses AI to detect objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease while leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop by speaking to it.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It has a sleek, top piece that appears like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System is also self-emptying which will reduce your cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it all over the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's hard to determine whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. These robots come with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with a variety of extra features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but usually are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more expensive features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent option for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls.

Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place, emptying the bin is easy. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, however it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded vacuum and mop.  robotic vacuum cleaner on sale  of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is among the most innovative in the market, but it's expensive.

It's a small base station that looks stunning and can be hidden when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that do very well at cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do everything.

If you're looking to save money, or just don't care about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other great choices available, including a lot of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive however it comes with more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up, just connect one of the side brush, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to a power outlet and enough space for it to move but.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. The design is more modest than other models, and features sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The main characteristic that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is less expensive and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials such as cereal.
