Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET' smart vacuum cleaner -rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to identify objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily, leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off by speaking to it.
Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic rather than a loud, loud one. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System is also self-emptying which will reduce your cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It even managed to take small gravel and sand which other robots can't. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best choice is probably one that is a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's a great choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums often fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.
Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas, modify your home map or re-label the rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is among the most innovative in the market, but it's expensive.
It's a small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tested that does well at picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do everything.
However, if you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other options on the market, including a lot of eufy models that cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's simple to set up, just attach one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with plenty of room to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be tucked away under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The primary aspect that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable items in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges faster and has a similar battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which doesn't require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
